Segundo coluna de Mônica Bergamo, publicada no jornal Folha de São Paulo nessa quinta-feira, a banda norte-americana Green Day deverá se apresentar no Brasil em outubro deste ano. A banda teria assinado contrato para dois shows, um em São Paulo e outro no Rio de Janeiro.
Por enquanto não existem outras informações disponíveis sobre a vinda da banda ao Brasil. Nos meses de maio, junho e julho a banda tem shows agendados na Europa. Depois, segue para a América do Norte, onde se apresenta nos meses de agosto e setembro.
Nesta semana, a banda estreou seu primeiro musical na Broadway, "American Idiot". O musical é uma obra biográfica dirigida por Michael Mayer que traz atores, músicos e dançarinos no palco.
