A banda norte-americana Avenged Sevenfold divulgou o nome do músico escolhido para ocupar o posto que temporariamente foi ocupado por Mike Portnoy. O escolhido é Arin Ilejay (foto), ex-baterista da banda cristã Confide.
“Recentemente nós perguntamos à diversos amigos que conheciam Jimmy [‘The Rev’ Sullivan] e seu estilo, e que também conhecessem nossa música e a personalidade de cada um de nós, para que dessem sugestões sobre bateristas para excursionar conosco este ano”, comentou a banda. “Nosso técnico de bateria Mick Fasano recomendou Arin Ilejay”.
“Nós temos ensaiado com Arin e ficamos impressionados com sua técnica, atitude e ética profissional. Estamos muito animados para excuvrsionar com Arin e esperamos que todos vocês dêem as boas-vindas à família que temos”.
