Uma notícia caiu como uma bomba para os headbangers chilenos. Foi confirmada no país a primeira edição do The Metal Fest Chile 2012, que será realizado nos dias 28 e 29 de abril do próximo ano, uma semana depois do festival Metal Open Air em São Luís do Maranhão.
De acordo com o jornal chileno La Tercera, ao total serão 14 nomes internacionais, sendo que alguns deles já foram anunciados. Confira a lista parcial:
