Em entrevista ao Ultimate Classic Rock, Rudy Sarzo justificou sua saída do Blue Öyster Cult como uma decisão para ter mais tempos a seus outros trabalhos. Além do Animetal USA e Dio Disciples, o baixista revelou estar montando uma nova banda com o vocalista Dan Nelson (Anthrax, BlackGates), o guitarrista Mike Orlando (Adrenaline Mob) e o baterista AJ Pero (Twisted Sister). O grupo se chama Tred. “É algo bem diferente do que já fiz e poderoso. Um Metal com influências tribais. Estamos finalizando o primeiro disco”.
