O Stone Sour confirmou na última sexta-feira em seu Facebook que participará do festival Maquinaria, no Chile, que acontece nos dias 10 e 11 de novembro. A banda é a headliner juntamente com Slash. Com esta confirmação, aumentam ainda mais os indícios de que a banda liderada por Corey Taylor deve desembarcar no Brasil ainda este ano, assim como possivelmente em outros países da América do Sul. Na última semana, o vocalista respondeu positivamente um fã brasileiro em seu twitter que perguntou sobre a vinda da banda ao país.
O último show do Stone Sour no Brasil aconteceu no Rock in Rio do ano passado.
