Premiere\\ GREAT WHITE: 'Complicated' Video Released

GREAT WHITE's new music video, "Complicated", can be seen below. The latest single from the band's "Elation" album is overflowing with rockin' guitar riffs, tight percussion, tickling keys, fresh vocal swagger and an infectious chorus. The boogie-blues track is signature GREAT WHITE through and through, soon to become a fan favorite.

The accompanying music video is a far cry from classic GREAT WHITE videos from back in the day. The band enlisted help from Mark Teague of Dream Haven Studios to create a multi-media narrative: a first for the band.

"We really had a good time making the video and we hope the fans dig it. They will feel the positive energy coming from the song and video," the band said.

Working alongside a green screen and even utilizing acting prowess, GREAT WHITE captures an emotional triumph. The energy and peace is palpable.

GREAT WHITE is founder and lead guitarist Mark Kendall, Michael Lardie (keyboards, guitar), Audie Desbrow (drums), Scott Snyder (bass) and lead singer Terry Ilous.

"Elation" sold around 1,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release. Issued on May 22, 2012 via Frontiers Records, the 12-song CD marks GREAT WHITE's first effort with Ilous following the band's split with founding singer Jack Russell.

This version of GREAT WHITE is not to be confused with GREAT WHITE FEATURING JACK RUSSELL (formerly JACK RUSSELL'S GREAT WHITE), which features Russell alongside Robby Lochner (FIGHT) on guitar, Chris Tristram on bass, Tony Montana on guitar and Dicki Fliszar on drums.

GREAT WHITE released a live album, "30 Years - Live From The Sunset Strip", on February 22, 2013 in Europe and February 26, 2013 in North America via Frontiers Records.

To mark its 30th anniversary live on March 22, 2012, GREAT WHITE celebrated the only logical way — on stage. In a nod to its early days, GREAT WHITE returned to the infamous Sunset Strip, where a storied past of music's biggest fans are fused into the walls of the Key Club. GREAT WHITE delivered its entire repertoire to a packed house, pining for the band's raw energy and cheering its illustrious history track after track.

Mais conhecido como o vocalista do Great White desde a sua criação em 1978, Jack Russell ajudou a fundar o grupo no sul da Califórnia. A banda teve vários sucessos e passou por anos de sucesso antes dos anos 90. Queda nas vendas e uma atitude apática convenceu a banda a demiti-lo, mas a morte do pai de Russell, no inverno de 2001 convenceu-o a voltar à música. Ele organizou uma banda composta por vários grandes nomes e juntos fizeram o álbum For You em 2002.

A partir de 2010, Jack esteve em hiato de Great White, devido a um intestino perfurado. Agora totalmente recuperado, ele formou sua própria facção de Great White com um novo lineup em dezembro de 2011. Para evitar confusão, ele chamou a banda de Great White Jack Russell. Em 2012, Russell estrelou em VH1 Classics That Metal Show, onde revelou o seu lado da história no Great White, e como ele estava se sentindo bem e pronto para mais.

WHITESNAKE, TESLA, LITA FORD, KIX, WARRANT and L.A. GUNS are among the confirmed bands for the M3 Rock Festival, set to take place May 13-14, 2011 at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland.

In its third year, M3 Rock Festival had added a kick-off party and concert featuring full sets, since one day alone can't contain all this metal.

The official M3 "Kix-Off Party" will get things started Friday, May 13 at 7 p.m. The full-blown 2011 M3 Rock Festival begins Saturday, May 14 at noon.

Last year VIP and Pavilion seats sold out faster than you could flick your Bic, so headbangers hoping to get close enough to smell the sweat will want to be at their computers Thursday, February 3 at 10 a.m. EST for the insiders' pre-sale. Only members of M3 Rockers' Forum at www.m3rockfest.com will be given the pre-sale promo code.

Discounted two-day packages will go on sale to the general public Friday, February 4 at 10 a.m. EST. Traduza\\ JANI LANE On Singing GREAT WHITE Material: 'I Didn't Realize How Hard It Would Be'

Rock artists GREAT WHITE with special guest vocalist Jani Lane (ex-WARRANT) will perform New Year's Eve (December 31) in the Woodlands Ballroom at the Fortune Bay Resort Casino in the Minnesota family vacation resort Lake Vermilion Resort from 10 p.m. to midnight. This will be a free show but you must be 18 to attend

Lane has been singing with GREAT WHITE for the past few months, filling in for the band's longtime lead vocalist, Jack Russell, who is recuperating from surgery.

"It's been fantastic," Lane told Timberjay. "I've been friends with Jack for decades and I told him I'd be happy to fill in for him."

Regarding his approach to singing someone else's material for the first time, Lane said, "I wanted to stay true to how Jack sings. I didn't realize how hard that would be." Lane said he had to train himself to sing at a higher pitch than usual. "I asked him why he sings so high all the time," Jani said.

As for his newfound bandmates, Lane said, "The guys in GREAT WHITE have been really pleasant to work with. They're very professional. For them, it's all about sounding good for the fans and coming home and taking care of business."

Myspace.com/saintsoftheundergroundfans is reporting that former Warrant vocalist Jani Lane will be stepping up to the mic as Great White front man briefly. Jani has agreed to perform in place of his long-time friend Jack Russell, while Jack is recovering from major surgery after suffering a perforated bowel. The surgery left Russell with a colostomy bag. .
