Epicenter, Southern California's rock festival, will return to Irvine, California's Verizon Wireless Amphitheater on Saturday, September 22. Alt rock icons STONE TEMPLE PILOTS are slated to headline the fourth annual event with their only area performance of the year.

Joining STONE TEMPLE PILOTS on the Epicenter 2012 bill will be DEFTONES, BUSH, SCARS ON BROADWAY, CHEVELLE, HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD, ESCAPE THE FATE, DEAD SARA, CRASH KINGS, BEWARE OF DARKNESS and HYRO DA HERO.

Co-produced by Right Arm Entertainment and Live Nation, Epicenter 2012 will feature multiple stages, including the Monster Energy Stage in the heart of Epicenter's vendor village. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. for this all-day event.

Tickets for Epicenter 2012 will go on sale Saturday, July 14 at 10 a.m. They will be available at LiveNation.com, Ticketmaster.com, at select Live Nation and Ticketmaster retail outlets, and via Ticketmaster Charge-By-Phone (800.745.3000).

"Infelizmente, o Attack Attack! teve de cancelar a sua turnê sul-americana devido a outras tarefas. Para honrar o compromisso do Escape The Fate com os seus na América do Sul e o apoio que recebemos de seus fãs desde que a turnê teve de ser adiada, decidimos juntar as turnês do Underoath e do Escape The Fate.

Isso nos forçou a adiar as apresentações das bandas We Came As Romans e Close Your Eyes. Agradecemos o compromisso dessas bandas com a turnê sul-americana que havíamos organizado e esperamos trazer essas duas grandes bandas jovens ao nosso continente em breve.

TRETAS\\ ALL THAT REMAINS Frontman Says ESCAPE THE FATE Gets 'Preferential Treatment' Over His Band

Vocalist Phil Labonte of Massachusetts metallers ALL THAT REMAINS has expressed his bewilderment at the "preferential treatment" the Las Vegas, Nevada-based post-hardcore band ESCAPE THE FATE gets over Labonte's group — this despite the fact that ALL THAT REMAINS has sold "probably five times the [number of] records" ESCAPE THE FATE has.


When asked by a fan via Facebook if ALL THAT REMAINS is taking part in this year's Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival alongside rumored participating act ESCAPE THE FATE, Labonte wrote, "I have NO idea what the deal is with ESCAPE THE FATE but they must have WICKED powerful management. We've sold probably five times the records they have, been around probably 10 years longer than they have, have four more records than they do, we have three songs that have charted in the Top 20 at radio, two of which have made the Top 10, they have none, and they STILL get preferential treatment over us. I don't know what they sound like, I've never met them, but it sucks when a band [with] powerful management tries to use another band that has busted their ass for over 10 years as a footstool. Not cool."

Las Vegas, Nevada-based post-hardcore band ESCAPE THE FATE was interviewed on a recent edition of "Sixx Sense", the new national radio program hosted by MÖTLEY CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx. You can now listen to the 10-minute chat below.

ESCAPE THE FATE has scheduled a massive amount of North American headlining tour dates that begin on January 20 in Tucson, Arizona and extend all the way into March, finishing on the 12 of that month in San Diego. The announcement of the "Dead Masquerade" tour follows the news that the group pulled out of a European trek with BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE that was supposed to begin this weekend so that bassist Max Green could enter rehab for drug and alcohol addiction.

A statement from singer Craig Mabbitt said, "Max needs his friends and family by his side, so we're not gonna leave him. Max is one of my best friends and has never done this band wrong in any way, shape or form. It's very honorable of him to admit he has a problem and wants to seek help for the longevity of his life and this band."

Mabbitt told The Pulse of Radio that he had his own problems with alcohol in the past, especially on tour, but has learned to keep things under control. "What was hard for me in the beginning was, you know, people would just come to the bar with me and they're like, 'Hey, man, let me get you a shot, buddy,' I'm like, 'Oh yeah, for sure,'" he said. "And it's just shot after shot after shot, and then I ended up feeling all loose and I'd be like, 'Hey, come back to the bus, I've got a whole other bottle on there.' And all of a sudden there's all these random people just hanging out and I'm just getting smashed. I had to learn my limits that way, man.

Las Vegas, Nevada-based post-hardcore band ESCAPE THE FATE has pulled out of the remaining dates on its European tour with BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE because bassist Max Green has entered an undisclosed rehab for drug and alcohol addiction.

"Max needs his friends and family by his side, so we're not gonna leave him," says lead singer Craig Mabbitt. "Max is one of my best friends and has never done this band wrong in any way shape or form.

"It's very honorable of him to admit he has a problem and wants to seek help for the longevity of his life and this band. I'm so sorry to the fans, but so proud of Max. He needs our love and support through this rough time in his life, so let's give it to him. Our soldiers never let us down and we will be back to play Europe and the two London dates very soon. We love you guys."

Welsh metallers BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE will return to North America in September. In support of its latest album, "Fever", the four-man band will kick-off a 32-date tour on September 16 in Wichita, Kansas at The Cotillion. ESCAPE THE FATE, BLACK TIDE and DRIVE A will open all shows. "Fever", the third album from BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, sold 71,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 3 on The Billboard 200 chart. "Fever" also landed in the Top Five in Australia, the U.K., Japan, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In the U.K. it reached No. 5 on sales of 21,965.

BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE's last album, "Scream Aim Fire", opened with 53,000 units in the U.S. back in February 2008 to land at No. 4. That CD has since gone on to shift 360,000 copies.

"Fever" pairs BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE with producer Don Gilmore, best known for his work with LINKIN PARK and GOOD CHARLOTTE.

The band — guitarist/vocalist Matt Tuck, guitarist Michael Paget, bassist Jason James and drummer Michael Thomas — recorded the CD in studios both in its native Wales and Los Angeles.

"Fever" follows "Scream Aim Fire", which has sold one million copies worldwide and debuted in the Top 5 in Germany, Austria, Australia and No. 1 in Japan and reached gold status in the U.K. and Canada.
