Swindon five-piece The Dead Lay Waiting are having a busy year already! Check out their new video too!

Despite their youth, the deathcore crew has been together for four years and have toured relentlessly. In support of the release of their debut album, We Rise, at the start of last year, the band also played a number of festivals, including Download, Hammerfest and Bloodstock, and supported acts such as Soulfly, Nightwish, As I Lay Dying, Opeth, Napalm Death and Dimmu Borgir.

Their new album, ALMOST HEAVEN, is released in June, and coincides with their appearance at this year’s Download Festival, and their nomination for Metal Hammer’s Golden Gods Awards in the Best Underground Band section, alongside the likes of Watain and Clutch – we also have the band playing aboard HMS Hammer at the awards!
