After days of speculation that Steven Tyler was out of Aerosmith, which included Twitter posts by Joe Perry stating that the band was "positively looking for a new singer to work with", the rumors appear to be put to rest. Guitarist Joe Perry, who is on tour promoting his solo album 'Have Guitar, Will Travel', was joined onstage during a show in New York by the one and only Steven Tyler.

During the show Tyler stated, "I want you to know I am not leaving Aerosmith. Joe Perry, you are a man of many colors, but I motherfucker am the rainbow", before the 'toxic twins' delved into a rendition of "Walk This Way".
