Traduza\\ JOE PERRY, ACE FREHLEY, MICHAEL ANTHONY, VINNIE PAUL To Guest On New BRET MICHAELS Album

POISON singer Bret Michaels recently spoke to AZCentral.com about his forthcoming solo album, "Get Your Rock On", which is tentatively due this summer.

"[It's a] really amazing record," Bret said. "I put a lot of hard work into this. And everyone that's on it, I'm not only friends with but fans of. I've got Ace Frehley from KISS and Michael Anthony from VAN HALEN. I redid [POISON's] 'Nothin' But a Good Time' and played everything on it but the lead guitar and bass. Ace Frehley plays the solo and Michael Anthony plays bass. Then, 'Every Rose Has Its Thorn' has Joe Perry from AEROSMITH and Hugh McDonald from BON JOVI. And it's got Loretta Lynn singing it with me. Then, Jimmy Buffett, me and him did 'Margaritaville' live. . . It's all people I know. Vinnie Paul from PANTERA. They're all friends of mine. The best one — are you ready for this? — I remade 'Sweet Home Alabama' with the guys from LYNYRD SKYNYRD playing and singing on it. Gary Rossington and Rickey Medlocke are on it. I wanted them to hear what I had done. I gave it a really cool feel. And they were like, 'This is awesome.'"

When asked how the sound of his new solo album compares with that of 2010's "Custom Built", Bret said, "For me, honestly, every song has a life of its own. I kind of do exactly what I want to do with each song. And so some of them are like 'Get Your Rock On', real just in-your-face straight-up rock and roll. And then, you've got a really interesting twist to 'Every Rose Has Its Thorn'. What adds the sound to your record is when you get different musicians like that. I mean, having Ace Frehley, there's just no way to describe. It almost takes you back to 'Shock Me'.

Traduza\\ Bret Michaels Reaches Out To Friend Charlie Sheen

Bret Michaels has urged his longtime friend Charlie Sheen to "work out those demons" amid his much-publicized personal problems.

As the troubled actor continues to hit headlines, Michaels has jumped to his defence and pledged to help his friend.

Describing the 45 year old as a "really great guy", the rocker used his appearance on Piers Morgan Tonight on Wednesday to urge Sheen's critics to "stop blaming the drugs" and support him as he works out his issues.

He says, "The Charlie I know is a really great guy that openly admits he fights demons. The same drive that makes (him) be nothing but great with the public and acting is the same drive that can make you crazy. Anytime I've been around him - and we've had great times, partied together - never once have I had a bad experience. Never once when I was with him did I think, 'Oh my God...'

"The same stuff that makes him creative and great is the same stuff that can probably make him snap and it's a tough time he's going through and as a friend he's been nothing but great to me.

"We all need help. I think that someone has gotta stop blaming the drugs. It's happened to me... sometimes you gotta look beyond the drugs, the drugs just mask what's going on. The help has to be way beyond - going to a couple of weeks of rehab isn't gonna fix it.

"I dont think there is (a short fix), long fix is working out those demons whatever they are. That's what the answer is. I wouldn't wanna see my best friend or worst enemy go through what the demons are that you gotta fight like that."

Traduza\\ Bret Michaels Seduces MyFord Touch In New Commercial

Susan Carpenter of LATimes.com reports: Based on his Rock of Love antics, you'd think Bret Michaels liked his women hot blooded, scantily clad and more than a little bit wild. But a new YouTube clip that posted Monday night shows Michaels flirting his tight-jeaned rear-end off with a disembodied voice called Samantha -- a computer-generated female that comes courtesy of most Ford vehicles.

Michaels, who's been helping Ford promote various vehicles, appears in the vid as part of a social networking promo for the new 2011 Explorer. Samantha is clearly a fan. When Michaels asks her for the car's temperature setting, she says it's "hot -- fresh-out-of-the-toaster-oven hot." She also compliments him on his trademark bandanna and tight pants.

Premiere \\ BRET MICHAELS' Cover Version Of SUBLIME's 'What I Got'

In an interview with PopEater.com, Michaels stated about his cover of "What I Got", "That's one of my favorite songs; it just puts me in a great mood. I love hearing that song, so I busted it out live, and I thought I did a really respectful version of it. I wanted to keep some of what the song is, but I added some of my own lyrics and a cool breakdown to it. We played it live and it went over insane. It's been one of my favorite songs since the early '90s."

MÖTLEY CRÜE singer Vince Neil was interviewed this past Friday's (November 19) episode of "Elliot In The Morning", a morning radio talk show hosted by DJ Elliot Segal. You can now listen to the chat in the YouTube clip below.

When asked about POISON singer Bret Michaels' recent onstage claim that POISON and MÖTLEY CRÜE will celebrate their 25th and 30th anniversaries, respectively, next year by joining forces for a North American trek, Neil said, "I don't know why Bret would say that. And I hadn't heard about it. People were asking me, and I'm going, 'I never heard that in my life.' And I was getting a lot of Twitters about it. I finally just called my office and said, 'What is up with this?' I was kind of pissed that nobody told me. And they go, 'Look, we have no idea. There was never anything like that [being considered] or that was even being talked about.' But the funny thing is, ever since [Bret] did that and now people are talking about it, crazier things have happened. It could happen. Because you have promoters out there going, 'Hmmm…. Yeah, maybe. Yeah, that sounds like a great package.' You know what I mean?!"

Momento Caras \\ BRET MICHAELS Denies He Had Affair With MILEY CYRUS' Mother

POISON singer Bret Michaels has shot down rumors that had an affair with Miley Cyrus' mother, Tish Cyrus. In an appearance on this morning's (Tuesday, November 9) edition of "Fox & Friends", Michaels said he has been friends with Tish and Miley's dad, Billy Ray, "forever," and that he didn't have a romantic relationship with Tish. Rumors circulated last week that Michaels was the reason for Miley's parents' divorce after 17 years of marriage.

“The answer is no," Michaels said when asked if he had the affair. "But here's the thing. I've been friends with her family forever. It started out with me and Miley simply working on a song together. Her mom, Tish, likes [the POISON song] 'Every Rose Has Its Thorn', the first concert Miley ever saw was POISON, and so they wanted to remake it for her new record. And while I was in the studio, Miley came in and sang on my song — a song I wrote for my album, 'Custom Built' — she came over and sang on that. She did a beautiful job, and that was it. And then they started with all that controversy [about the alleged affair]."

Traduza\\ BRET MICHAELS Returns To Top Of VH1

POISON singer Bret Michaels' new VH1 reality series, "Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It", premiered this past Monday and right out of the gate became the highest-rated program of the night. The show, which showcases the 47-year-old rocker's life with his two daughters — Jorja, 5, and Raine, 10 — and Kristi Gibson, the mother of Michaels' kids, with whom he has been together on and off since 1993, quickly made its way to the top of VH1 with viewers as well as message-board activity and episode video clip downloads at VH1.com.

In a recent interview with MTV News, Michaels stated about the new series, "The inspiration for the new show was simple. Even when I was doing [the hit VH1 show] 'Rock of Love' ... I wanted to do 'Celebrity Apprentice', to raise awareness for the American Diabetes Association and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation," Michaels said. "And I'm so lucky I got to go over there and do it. And from that, the idea for this show was sort of spawned. ... It's a great balance between my passion and love for my family and my passion and love for being on the road. And they're two different ends of the spectrum, and then you watch it collide, and the whole show is about finding that balance."

He added, "Initially, [VH1] wanted me to do a show called 'Rock Of Love Boat', but I came to them with this idea, and they were interested. I said, 'Listen, sometimes it's going to be exciting, and sometimes it's going to be me, scooping up dog poop ... that's life.' And I think the authenticity of it is what people are really going to love. They're going to see me as both a parent and a dad and also being on the road, rocking it."

According to The Wenatchee World, last Saturday's (September 11) Bret Michaels concert at Yakima County Stadiumin Yakima, Washington was canceled due to poor ticket sales.

"Very disappointing," Cheryl Salomone, Yakima general manager for Townsquare Media, told The Wenatchee World. "We heard a lot of people talking about it, but people just didn't buy tickets."

As of September 6, only about 600 of the 3,500 available tickets had sold, Salomone said. She blamed a combination of factors — an outdoor show with uncertain weather predictions, the all-general-admission ticket policy and a weary ticket-buying public.
