No episódio mais recente de ‘Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It’, Bret foi alertado pelos médicos que eles têm que reparar um buraco no coração do músico em Janeiro.
Apesar da recente hemorragia cerebral de Bret e o fato dele ser diabético, o cantor mantém uma visão positiva: 'Estou muito otimista. Eu me sinto positive de que eles farão um excelente trabalho. Eles já fizeram milhares dessas operações.’
