O vocalista do GREEN DAY, Billie Joe Armstrong, tem uma grande meta para ser atingida em 2010: nunca mais usar drogas. Em 2003, o cantor chegou a ser preso por estar dirigindo alcoolizado. Para Billie Joe, chegou a hora de maneirar e deixar de consumir drogas. “Juro que jamais usarei novamente metanfetamina, por exemplo. Nunca mais quero ficar doidão com esse tipo de droga. Também nunca mais vou usar ácido”, conta o líder do GREEN DAY.
Segundo ele, as coisas podem ficar muito feias caso o músico não dê um fim ao consumo de substâncias ilícitas. “Se continuar usando, eventualmente vou ficar pelado no topo de um prédio chupando o dedo e com a visão toda embaçada surtando em busca do meu 'lugar feliz'", completa Billie Joe.
