O Lollapalooza Brasil deve começar a vender seus ingressos na segunda quinzena de novembro, de acordo com o blog Popload, que ainda tem dez possíveis bandas que integrarão o line-up.
O Foo Fighters continua circulando como headliner do evento, depois da escorregada de um dos patrocinadores, em julho. Jane's Addiction, Arctic Monkeys, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, que retornaria à América do Sul depois de tocar no Lollapalooza Chile de 2010, TV On the Radio, MGMT, Foster the People, Cage the Elephant, Big Audio Dynamite e Skrillex também devem vir ao país. Por enquanto, nenhuma destas informações foi confirmada pela organização do Lollapalooza.
A edição brasileira do festival criado por Perry Farrell acontecerá nos dias 7 e 8 de abril de 2012, no Jockey Club de São Paulo. A segunda edição no Chile também já está confirmada.
