A revista inglesa METAL HAMMER, mais uma vez, esculacha a concorrência quando o quesito é diagramação e arte gráfica em suas capas e páginas, e revelou uma prévia de seu novo exemplar, que só deve chegar às bancas em algumas semanas.

A foto abaixo traz o vocalista do BLACK SABBATH, OZZY OSBOURNE, com um belo par de cornos adornando-lhe o globo. Como citação na mesma capa, Ozzy brada: “Não há como matar essa porra dessa banda!”

Vale dizer que fora da mitologia sociocultural latina, os chifres tem uma simbologia totalmente diferente da predominante no terceiro mundo e nos países latinos, e pode significar maldade, grande apetite sexual ou força.

Isso oferece outras perspectivas. Foi o que tentamos fazer. Posso garantir que a versão definitiva será ainda mais brutal e única”.

Berlin Metal TV has uploaded a seven-minute video clip featuring highlights from the German edition of the Metal Hammer Awards, which was held last Friday night (September 9) at Kesselhaus in Berlin. Check out the footage below.

For the first time, the German Metal Hammer Awards took place as a full-fledged party after being hosted at Wacken Open Air's main stage for two years. The ceremony was hosted by Vito and Hannes of German comedy metallers J.B.O. and included performances by DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER, CALIBAN, PRIMAL FEAR and AUDREY HORNE.

Adorning the front cover of the inaugural issue of the Norwegian edition of Metal Hammer magazine are none other than the Norwegian kings of symphonic black metal DIMMU BORGIR.

States the magazine: "Both nationally and internationally, DIMMU have become the symbol of Norwegian metal. We wanted to pay tribute to the band and invite them to make history with us!"

April 30 will mark a new era for Norwegian metal fans, as they finally wrap their rotten fingers around the legendary Metal Hammer magazine in their native tongue.
