O guitarrista Slash disse que seu retorno ao Guns n’ Roses poderia acontecer se o vocalista Axl Rose se desculpasse por tudo o que foi dito após sua saída da banda, em 1996.
Em entrevista ao jornal Los Angeles Daily, Slash comentou que conversaria com Axl sobre a possibilidade de tocarem juntos novamente se houvesse um pedido de desculpas do vocalista, mas ele não acredita que isso vá acontecer algum dia.
“Essa seria uma ligação que eu ficaria surpreso em receber. Se isso realmente acontecesse eu também teria que deixar algumas coisas para trás, mas não vejo isso acontecendo. Mas, se acontecesse, eu faria o que for possível para, pelo menos, ter uma conversa sobre isso”.
A questão é se o enorme ego e orgulho de Axl Rose o permitiria tentar uma conciliação com o antigo parceiro de banda.
