Notícias que vão mudar o mundo \\ GEOFF TATE Sings 'Happy Birthday' To QUEENSRŸCHE Drummer

Video footage of QUEENSRŸCHE singer Geoff Tate singing happy birthday to the band's drummer, Scott Rockenfield, during Tate's June 15 concert at The Triple Door in Seattle, Washington can be seen below.

RISING WEST, the new band featuring Michael Wilton, Eddie Jackson, Scott Rockenfield and Parker Lundgren of QUEENSRŸCHE, along with powerhouse vocalist Todd La Torre of CRIMSON GLORY, played its first two shows ever on Friday, June 8 and Saturday, June 9 at the Hard Rock Café in Seattle, Washington. The band performed rare and classic hits from the first five QUEENSRŸCHE albums — from the 1983 EP through 1990's "Empire" — as well as a cover version of the IRON MAIDEN staple "Wrathchild".

Geoff Tate entered the studio on February 29 to begin recording his second solo album, tentatively due in October.

Tate released his first solo CD in 2002 on Sanctuary Records. Self-titled, the LP was a huge departure from the work he had previously done with QUEENSRŸCHE.

CIRCLE PIT \\ LAMB OF GOD: 'Desolation' Video Released

"Desolation", the new video from Richmond, Virginia metallers LAMB OF GOD, can be seen below. The song comes off the band's latest album, "Resolution", which has sold 117,000 copies in the United States since its January release.

"Resolution" sold around 52,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 3 on The Billboard 200 chart. The band's previous CD, "Wrath", opened with around 68,000 units back in March 2009 to enter the chart at No. 2. This figure was roughly in line with the first-week tally registered by 2006's "Sacrament", which shifted around 63,000 units to debut at No. 8. It also represented almost double the amount of records sold by its predecessor, "Ashes Of The Wake", which premiered with 35,000 copies in September 2004.

Premiere\\ MINISTRY: 'Ghouldiggers' Video Released

"Ghouldiggers", the new video from MINISTRY, can be seen below. The song comes off the band's new album, "Relapse", which sold 3,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 193 on The Billboard 200 chart. Issued on March 26, the CD was recorded last fall at mianman Al Jourgensen's industrial compound studio in with his favorite co-conspirators Mike Scaccia (RIGOR MORTIS), Tony Campos (STATIC-X, SOULFLY), Tommy Victor (PRONG) and Casey Orr (RIGOR MORTIS, GWAR).

In support of "Relapse", MINISTRY will perform five major North American concerts this June — Denver, Los Angeles, New York and two shows in Chicago — as part of the DeFibRiLlaTouR 2012 world tour.

The band's touring lineup includes:

* Al Jourgensen - Vocals, Guitar
* Mike Scaccia (RIGOR MORTIS) - Guitar
* Casey Orr (RIGOR MORTIS) - Bass
* John Bechdel (KILLING JOKE, FEAR FACTORY) - Keyboards
* Aaron Rossi (REVOLTING COCKS) - Drums
* Sin Quirin (REVOLTING COCKS) - Guitar

SOULFLY bassist Tony Campos will not perform with MINISTRY due to scheduling conflicts.

Thirty years and 12 albums later, as well as a near-death experience in 2010, Jourgensen rises as a phoenix from the ashes with "Relapse" — still angry, still political and very very pissed off. Relapsing back into the music industry after a four-year hiatus, Jourgensen launches his audio assault with "Ghouldiggers", a no-holds-barred metal bullet aimed directly at the pitfalls of the industry he has survived. Everything Jourgensen predicted on "Houses Of The Molé", "Rio Grande Blood" and "The Last Sucker" has transpired and as we approach the Mayan calendar of the End of Days in 2012, Jourgensen, re-invigorated by the global 99 Percenters and Occupy Wall Street movement, navigates through "Relapse" once again as a reluctant prophet accusing, dissecting, cajoling and exhorting greed, corruption and lies.

Reaching back to his punk rock roots, Jourgensen and his MINISTRY pirates cover S.O.D.'s "United Forces" — a track written 20 years ago still relevant today as a call to arms for the unrighteous and to those who feel disenfranchised by the "system" as it stands today.

O Megadeth faz parte do "Big Four of Thrash", juntamente com Metallica, Slayer e Anthrax.

01. The Industrialist
02. Recharger
03. New Messiah
04. God Eater
05. Depraved Mind Murder
06. Virus Of Faith
07. Difference Engine
08. Dissemble
09. Religion is Flawed Because Man is Flawed

SEFOTEU\\ Axl Rose 'Fuming' After Being Robbed Of Jewellery In Paris

Guns N' Roses singer Axl Rose has been robbed of $200,000 of jewellery in Paris, reports the Daily Mail.

The "Paradise City" singer said thieves took three gold-and-diamond necklaces from an after party following the group's show at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy.

A police source said Axl was 'fuming' about the theft, and confirmed the rocker wasn't wearing his necklaces at the time they were stolen. Judicial police have launched an investigation, and hope to quickly find the culprits.

Guns N' Roses have met with frequent troubles on their current European tour, with heavy criticism for taking to the stage late, in many cases later than after 11pm.

In London the band -- of which Axl is the only original member -- threatened to walk off stage if fans continued to throw money and plastic cups at them after they took to the stage 50 minutes late. Bass player Tommy Stinson said: 'If you throw any f***ing thing on stage, we'll go home.'

Axl also recently turned down the opportunity to appear with the classic line up of the group -- Slash, Duff McKagan, Izzy Stradlin and Steven Adler -- when they were inducted to the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio.

He wrote in an open letter: 'Since the announcement of the nomination we've actively sought out a solution to what, with all things considered, appears to be a no win, at least for me, 'damned if I do, damned if I don't', scenario all the way around.'

Guns N' Roses next show is in Moenchengladbach, Germany, on Friday, before they will return to France as part of their European tour, which lasts until July 22.

Premiere\\ STEVE 'ZETRO' SOUZA's HATRIOT: 'Blood Stained Wings' Video Released

"Blood Stained Wings", the new video from HATRIOT, the new San Francisco Bay Area thrash metal band fronted by Steve "Zetro" Souza (EXODUS, TENET, DUBLIN DEATH PATROL, LEGACY), can be seen below.

HATRIOT recently parted ways with drummer Alex Bent and is currently seeking a replacement.

Commented the group: "We would like to fill this position with a musician who works well with others, has gear, transportation, and can tour on short notice. One requirement for the open tryout is we are looking for a full playthrough of our four-song demo currently available for download at ReverbNation.com/hatriot. Once you have learned our demo and it is tight, mistake-free, please feel free to Facebook message our page or contact Cody Souza about meeting up to perform the demo live to us, before actual tryout is given. We are currently talking to two record labels and an album will be recorded before summer's end. HATRIOT has a lot of big things in the future; we just want to make sure we find the right musician to keep us moving forward."

In a recent interview with Metalholic.com, Zetro called Bent "a monster" and "probably the best drummer I've seen, ever." He added, "He's like a machine. He plays drums constantly, like eight hours a day. He's an animal in the studio, he's an animal live. I don't know if HATRIOT would be the same with another guy."

Regarding HATRIOT's musical direction, Zetro told Metalholic.com, "It's in the vein of typical Bay Area thrash, but these guys are a lot younger, so there's gonna be some blast-beats in there. There's gonna be some kind of death [metal] approach to it, a little bit. 'Cause these guys are new. They're raw, and they're fast, young, heavy, hard and aggressive, and I'm trying to convey that along as well."

He added, "These new kids seem to understand what we did in the '80s, but still bring a little bit of a new essence to it. We put that together with what I write vocally and it's turned out to be really, really killer. It's good stuff."

HATRIOT's lineup includes Zetro's 21-year-old son Cody, who got his first bass as a present from his father after Zetro bought it off current EXODUS bassist Jack Gibson. "I told him," said Zetro, "You have to try out [for the bassist position in HATRIOT if you want to be in the band]. There's no nepotism here, boy. If you can hang, you're on. So he actually tried out, and he got the gig."

HATRIOT's December 23, 2011 concert at The Avalon in Santa Clara marked the band's first live performance with new guitarist Miguel Esparza.
