A empresa Ole Bang, que empresaria as bandas MERCYFUL FATE e King Diamond, enviou uma mensagem ao jornalista Eduardo Godoi sobre a situação de saúde de King Diamond, que sofreu um infarte em novembro de 2010 e teve que ser safenado às pressas.
Segundo a Ole Bang, King Diamond se recupera em ritmo muito bom, normal para esse tipo de cirurgia. A empresa ainda disse que não vai mais falar a respeito desse assunto, a não ser que o próprio King queria escrever algum dia sobre isso.
King Diamond trabalhava em um novo álbum e na edição de seu primeiro DVD ao vivo. Confira a mensagem:
"King is well and recuperating at a good pace, normal for that kind of surgery. There will not be any further up date on that subject, unless he one day feel like writing about it.
