Motley Crue singer Vince Neil has said he believes he was only sent to prison as the courts "wanted to make an example" out of him.
Neil was jailed for two weeks on January 26 after pleading guilty to drink-driving. He started his sentence on February 15, and is scheduled to be released on March 2. He will then be under house arrest for two weeks.
Speaking to the Las Vegas Sun, Neil said: "They [the courts] were a little harsh in the sentencing. They wanted to make an example out of me. It's not bad, but it's still jail. Jail is jail."
