Michael, 35 anos, recentemente tocou no LYNCH MOB ao lado do novo baterista do Whitesnake, Brian Tichy (Foreigner, Billy Idol, Ozzy Osbourne, Velvet Revolver).
O músico comentou: "É uma honra ser recebido na família do Whitesnake. Sou um grande fã. O Whitesnake é conhecido pela sua música empolgante, a história de David [Coverdale] é rica, e estou muito orgulhoso de estar aqui."
A atual formação da banda conta também com os guitarristas Doug Aldrich e Reb Beach, além do tecladista Timothy Drury.
O Whitesnake está em estúdio gravando o sucessor de "Good To Be Bad", de 2008, e lançará o novo material pela Frontier Records. Uma turnê mundial deve ser realizada para divulgação do disco.
