Lamb Of God, Stone Sour an 80’s superstar and more confirmed for Download 2010! Get Download 2010 tickets here!
Lamb Of God, Stone Sour, Billy Idol (!), Five Finger Death Punch and 30 Seconds To Mars are the other bands confirmed for this year’s Download festival.
Fresh from tearing the arse out of the UK on their recent ‘Wrath’ tour, Lamb Of God have been confirmed to play this year’s Download festival. Anyone who saw them lay Donington to waste in 2007 will already know how much ass this is going to kick.
Corey Taylor will be bringing Stone Sour to Download for the first time since 2007. With a new album that Corey says “makes Come What(ever) May sound like b-sides”, this has definitely got our heart racing that little bit quicker. Relive Stone Sour at Download in 2007 here.
Billy Idol might get one or two sneers around these parts but the man ruled when playing inside the 2nd stage tent in 2005. Get a beer down your neck and try to deny ‘Rebel Yell’ and ‘Dancing With Myself’. It’s just not possible!
Five Finger Death Punch have bulldozed through the UK at every given opportunity for the past 18 months. Since we first brought them here for Defenders of the Faith 2009, the Death Punch sound has grown and grown to the point where they are one of the bands to not be missed at this year’s Download festival.
30 Seconds To Mars will also be on the bill at this year’s Download festival.
Bands confirmed for this year’s Download festival thus far: AC/DC, Aerosmith, Rage Against The Machine, Them Crooked Vultures, Deftones, Stone Temple Pilots, Bullet For My Valentine, 30 Seconds To Mars, Stone Sour, Wolfmother, Megadeth, Motorhead, Billy Idol, Lamb Of God, Volbeat, Five Finger Death Punch and many, many more to still be announced.
