Ao que parece, DJ ASHBA não é um ex-membro do SIXX:AM, apesar de seu envolvimento com o GUNS N' ROSES. Após a turnê canadense e os dois shows- surpresa em Nova Iorque, Ashba está usando bem seu tempo ocioso antes de excursionar pela América Latina com a 'entourage' de Axl Rose.
Em nota postada por NIKKI SIXX (MÖTLEY CRÜE, SIXX:AM) em seu Myspace, Nikki declarou sucintamente: 'SIXX Sentado no estúdio ouvindo DJ gravar as guitarras pro novo disco do Sixx AM.'
