ALL THAT REMAINS/ex-SHADOWS FALL vocalist Phil Labonte has commented on his new gig as the fill-in frontman for KILLSWITCH ENGAGE.

As previously reported, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE vocalist Howard Jones is leaving the band's current headlining tour with THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA and DARK TRANQUILLITY due to "unforeseen circumstances." Labonte will be stepping in for Jones for a few shows in the interim, until the KILLSWITCH ENGAGE guys can determine what the plan will be for the remaining tour dates, which are currently scheduled to run through the end of March.



Writing on his Twitter profile, Labonte said, "Yep, I'm singing for [KILLSWITCH ENGAGE] until [Howard Jones] gets better. Not sure how long it'll be, but I'm here 'till they don't need me anymore."

Phil Labonte will be filling in for Jones for a few shows in the interim, until the KILLSWITCH ENGAGE guys can determine what the plan will be for the remaining tour dates, which are currently scheduled to run through the end of March.

KILLSWITCH ENGAGE has contributed a previously unreleased song to the digital extended play (EP) soundtrack for the highly anticipated PlayStation3 (PS3) exclusive videogame "God of War III". The EP, titled "God of War: Blood & Metal", will be released in March via Roadrunner Records as a part of the "God of War III Ultimate Edition", and will also feature four other previously unreleased songs from Roadrunner artists — TRIVIUM, DREAM THEATER OPETH and TAKING DAWN.



Comentários: O KSE atingiu a grande massa, após a entrada de Howard Jones (A Espera de um Milagre), mas creio que ele não seja o ponto principal pelo sucesso da banda.
De qualquer forma, vamos aguardar o desfecho desta estranha situação que a banda se encontra.
