As previously reported, GUNS N' ROSES frontman and sole original member Axl Rose posted a lengthy rant at Twitlonger.com, a related Twitter site where one can post messages longer than 140 characters. In his post, Rose calls the band's recent surprise acoustic shows in New York "insane" and adds that reports about the band going on three hours late at one of them were inaccurate. Rose writes, "Goin' on late at Rose Bar nonsense: Nope, Nopity, Nope!! 1:30am on time! U got played!! We were asked to do a show for fans n' friends etc. We were told when to arrive n' when to play between 1 an 2am which we did exactly. We didn't perform for the press or their deadlines other than that they were there. We do our best provided we r treated in the same manner to be polite n' cordial."

Rose also comments on reports that he banned Slash-related clothing from the group's recent Canadian shows, saying, "Fake allegations from unreliable sources . . . fabricated from a 2001 bs RS piece from Rock N' Rio. Bottom line Never happened, end of story. Fuck TMZ, ContactMusic, Spinner."

The singer also says that a concert in Toronto was delayed for just over an hour because of an injury-related situation.

Rose, as he has done in the past, reserves most of his wrath for the press, saying, "So in closing...Fuck the LA Times, TMZ, Contact Music n' Spinner. I don't need 'forgiven' for alleged n' fabricated nonsense. I've no respect for mean spirited aholes gettin' paid talkin' shit at other's expense or irresponsible biased partisan politics wanna be journalism by dated hacks."

Rose also used the post to reveal that GUNS N' ROSES is now managed by Doc McGhee, who has handled the careers of BON JOVI, MÖTLEY CRÜE and KISS throughout the years. GN'R recently parted ways with powerhouse manager Irving Azoff, who helped to get the band's 2008 album, "Chinese Democracy", finally released after a 15-year wait.

GUNS N' ROSES will next head to South America for another round of shows there. A full U.S. tour has yet to be announced.
