De acordo com a Billboard.com, os membros do AEROSMITH Steven Tyler (vocalista), Brad Whitford (guitarrista), Tom Hamilton (baixista) e Joey Kramer (baterista) estão trabalhando desde o último sábado (22 de janeiro) com o colaborador de longa data Marti Frederiksen em material para o novo álbum. Segundo Frederiksen, o guitarrista Joe Perry não pode comparecer às sessões por causa de um compromisso não-revelado.
"Está sendo realmente bom, ótimo," disse Frederiksen. "Nós estamos tocando músicas, colocando riffs juntos, nos divertindo, rindo e trabalhando das 9 até às 11 (da noite). Estamos apenas fazendo a coisa, cara."
