Rocknews\\ Cidade alemã de Wacken volta a ser palco do heavy metal por 3 dias

O Festival de Wacken, maior festa de heavy metal do mundo, voltará a vibrar o norte da Alemanha onde, a partir de amanhã, será realizada a 22ª edição do Wacken Open Air, que contará com a exibição de 108 bandas, entre as quais se destaca Iron Maiden.

Essa é a segunda vez que a banda britânica participa do festival --a primeira foi em 2008-- e será a encarregada de abrir com chave de ouro o evento, que conta com seis palcos diferentes.

"Não costuma ser complicado levar um grupo a tocar em Wacken, quando as bandas estão disponíveis, mas com Iron Maiden trabalhamos durante cinco anos para consegui-la", explicou à Agência Efe Thomas Jensen, fundador do festival.

O Wacken Open Air, cuja primeira edição foi em 1990, inicia nesta quinta-feira e terá duração de três dias.
