Um grupo de músicos da cena heavy dos anos 90, unidos pelo desejo de tocar um metal cru e agressivo. O Down, de Nova Orleans (EUA) é formado pelo vocalista Phil Anselmo (ex-Pantera), guitarristas Pepper Keenan (ex-Corrosion Of Conformity) e Kirk Windstein (Crowbar), baterista Jimmy Bower (Eyehategod) e o “novato” (que se juntou à banda em 1999) baixista Rex Brown (ex-Pantera).
A banda participará do Sweden Rock Festival 2011, e essa será sua única passagem pelo país durante o verão.
