Na página oficial do festival Coachella no Facebook, foi postada em que o evento ocorrerá e o nome de alguns artistas que irão participar, nos quais estão incluídas as bandas MUSE, RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE e RISE AGAINST. Porém não se possui mais dados sobre a apresentação. A mensagem deixada pelo perfil do Coachella diz o seguinte:
"Anotem na agenda:
Sábado, 30 de julho em Los Angeles, Rage Against The Machine, Muse, Rise Against e mais, fiquem ligados para mais detalhes"
O vocalista do MUSE, Matthew Bellamy já havia dito que Tom Morello (guitarrista do RAGE AGAINT THE MACHINE) é uma inspiração para ele como guitarrista. Essa influência pode ser ouvida no segundo disco da banda, "Origin of Symmetry".
