O guitarrista do SKID ROW Dave "Snake" Sabo, que trabalha como produtor de artistas na McGhee Entertainment, empresa que representa o DOWN, postou a seguinte mensagem em sua conta do twitter na noite de ontem, quinta-feira, 28 de abril:
"Puta merda! O Pepper Keenan «guitarrista do DOWN» acabou de acertar o Anselmo «frontman do DOWN, Philip» na cabeça com sua guitarra por acidente «durante a apresentação da banda no Best Buy Theater em Nova Iorque» e abriu um corte na cabeça do Philip! Sangue pra tudo quanto é lado! Mas eles continuaram!! Incrível!"
O incidente aparentemente ocorreu durante a música "Lifer", que Anselmo dedicou a seu falecido colega de banda no PANTERA "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott.
