"Breathless", the new performance video from British metalcore act ASKING ALEXANDRIA, can be seen below. The clip was shot by acclaimed director Frankie Nasso, who has previously worked with MUDVAYNE, ALL THAT REMAINS and HELLYEAH, among others.
Upon completion of the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival tour, ASKING ALEXANDRIA will resume work on its much-anticipated new album with renowned producer Joey Sturgis (THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, EMMURE).
ASKING ALEXANDRIA's sophomore album, "Reckless And Relentless", was released in April 2011 via Sumerian Records. There were three versions of the LP available at retail, including a specially priced Best Buy version (containing five exclusive remix tracks), a specially priced Hot Topic version (featuring three exclusive songs) and the normal version with the standard 12 cuts.
ASKING ALEXANDRIA's remix record, "Stepped Up And Scratched", came out in November 2011. Guitarist Ben Bruce stated about the effort, "'Stepped Up And Scratched' was a concept we came up with about three years ago while recording 'Stand Up And Scream'. We are all into a lot of different kinds of music (rock, pop, blues, swing, dance, house, electro etc.), so stepping out of our comfort zone is something we are used to. 'Stepped Up And Scratched' is proof of that. This album is a representation of this band as an artist, not just as a metal band. It is full of great remixes that would be perfect in a club/rave setting or at home just to party to. Not only is 'Stepped up And Scratched' a predominantly electronic album, but we decided we wanted to keep it heavy and be different so you will find a lot of the actual music has been left in to the mixes making it a really unique listen and a completely fresh sound/feel."
ASKING ALEXANDRIA is:
Danny Worsnop - Vocals
Ben Bruce - Guitar
