A banda norte-americana de rock Metallica enfrentou longas horas na estrada para dar continuidade a sua turnê na Europa após o caos aéreo desencadeado pela erupção do vulcão islandês Eyjafjallajoekull.
O guitarrista Kirk Hammet falou em Vilnius, capital da Lituânia [local em que a banda esteve fazendo show nesta quarta-feira (21)], que o Metallica viajou por 28 horas indo de Oslo, na Noruega, a Riga, na Letônia - uma viagem que levaria apenas duas horas em um avião.
