Rocknews\\ Flaming Lips lança álbum cover do Pink Floyd no final de junho

Seis meses após lançar a edição digital do álbum que presta homenagem ao disco “Dark Side of the Moon”, do Pink Floyd, a banda norte-americana Flaming Lips anuncia o lançamento da edição em CD de “The Flaming Lips and Stardeath and White Dwarfs with Henry Rollins and Peaches Doing The Dark Side of the Moon”.

Como o longo título indica, este disco traz o clássico “Dark Side of the Moon” interpretado pelo Flaming Lips com participações de Stardeath, White Dwarfs, Peaches e Henry Rollins. O álbum será lançado em CD no dia 28 de junho.

Originalmente o disco foi lançado em formato digital e também em edição limitada em vinil no final de 2009. O Flaming Lips chegou a fazer um show especial no final de dezembro em Oklahoma, cidade natal da banda, apresentando o disco na íntegra.
