“Junior Dad”, uma das músicas do álbum gravado pela parceria Lou Reed/Metallica fez os guitarristas da banda de Heavy Metal chorar. A confissão é de Kirk Hammett em entrevista à Mojo Magazine.
“Eu tinha perdido meu pai três ou quatro semanas antes. Tive que sair da sala de controle do estúdio e fui para a cozinha chorando. Pouco depois, James Hetfield (N.R.: que foi abandonado pelo pai aos 13 anos) entra lá, no mesmo estado. Foi algo insano”.
