Video footage of a Portuguese teenager auditioning for "Ídolos", the Portuguese version of the "Pop Idol"/"American Idol" talent-search program, with a rendition of the TRIVIUM song "Ember To Inferno" (from the 2003 album "From Ember To Inferno") can be viewed below. (Note: The TRIVIUM song begins around the 25-second mark.)
"Ídolos" is a contest to determine the best young singer in Portugal. The first two seasons (2003-2005) were hosted by Sílvia Alberto and Pedro Granger. The show then went on a hiatus of sorts and returned after an absence for four years for a third season in the fall of 2009.
EZO is the American self-titled debut album from the Japanese metal band Ezo. It was released in 1987 on Geffen Records and co-produced by Gene Simmons of KISS fame. Songwriters from the Kiss’ entourage contributed heavily to the songs of the album. Jody Gray, co-writer of Destroyer, co-wrote and co-produced the 2nd album, Fire Fire (Geffen).
