Rumores na imprensa européia dão conta de que FAITH NO MORE vai se reunir para uma série de festivais no vindouro verão. Por outro lado, o guitarrista Jim Martin pode não integrar a banda nesses shows.
Uma fonte próxima ao guitarrista, que esteve na banda de 1983 a 1993, disse ao site estadunidense Blabbermouth.net que Martin expressou interesse nesta reunião após ser contatado pelo tecladista Roddy Botum e um membro da equipe de empresários do FAITH NO MORE. Porém, a banda inexplicavelmente decidiu utilizar outro guitarrista — acredita-se que seja um dos diversos músicos que passou pela banda após a saída de Martin.
A revista Kerrang! afirmou que o FAITH NO MORE vai mesmo se reunir para uma série de shows na Europa, mas o baixista Billy Gould desmentiu os boatos. “Se qualquer coisa nesse sentido acontecer, virá da banda e não tenho falado com qualquer um deles há um ano”. 
Comentários: Fiquei muito feliz com o retorno dos caras e principalmente com a oportunidade de assistí-los na semana que vem no Maquinaria 2009.
Ainda mais depois de ver o sucesso que foi o show deles como headliners no Download Festival com as bandas: Korn, Limp Bizkit, Killswitch Engage e Staind tocando no mesmo palco e com Motley Crue no second stage.
Esta reunião seria completamente perfeita se Jim Martin também voltasse pra banda.
Ele era a pitada de metal que tornou o FAITH NO MORE tão sensacional. Sem ele o FNM também criou outras ótimas sonoridades, mas também nos trouxe músicas bizonhas como "Evidence".

Hoje, Jim Martin abandonou as guitarras, barbixas, óculos e holofotes para cultivar abóboras gigantes e competir em concursos de abóboras gigantes.
Martin deixou o FAITH NO MORE em 1993 devido a “conflitos internos” e foi substituído pelo então guitarrista da banda paralela do vocalista Mike Patton, o MR. BUNGLE, Trey Spruance, que deixou o grupo após as gravações de “King for a Day... Fool for a Lifetime” antes da banda cair em uma turnê mundial. Spruance foi substituído por Dean Menta, técnico de guitarra do grupo. O último lançamento de estúdio do grupo foi “Album of the Year”, de 1997, que contou com outro guitarrista, Jon Hudson, ex-colega de quarto de Billy Gould.
