Traduza\\ FEAR FACTORY's 'Mechanize' Cracks U.S. Top 100

"Mechanize", the new album from cyber metallers FEAR FACTORY, sold 10,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 72 on The Billboard 200 chart. The band's previous CD, "Transgression", opened with 19,000 units back in August 2005 to land at No. 45. This was substantially less than the first-week number registered by its predecessor, "Archetype", which sold 32,000 copies back in April 2004 to enter the Billboard chart at No. 30.

"Mechanize" has registered the following first-week chart positions so far:

"Mechanize" was released in the U.S. on February 9, 2010 via Candlelight Records. The CD, which was co-produced by the band with Rhys Fulber (FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY, PARADISE LOST), was mixed by Greg Reely (PARADISE LOST, FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY, SKINNY PUPPY).
